Behavior
Moves around tank usually around the rock and sand. Very rarely goes up into the water column to feed. A comunity fish, not aggressive toward any other species.
Feeding
As of most of the Dragonet family, these fish eat mostly off the live rock in the tank. This does not mean you can't teach the fish to eat prepared foods. Does not eat pellets. For the majority of the food, the scooter likes it to move, alive or dead. Try using enriched brine shrimp, feeding with a long eye dropper. Most scooters will also eat mysis shrimp eventually.
Recently more and more of these specimens found in local fish stores will already be feeding on mysis. Check before you buy.
