Sally Lightfoot Crab

This is a really nice crab for a tank with larger fish which don't eat crabs. They eat algea when young but when they get older prefer meaty foods. On the whole, a nice looking crab. It is sometimes called the Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde crab as it can become extremely aggressive toward tankmates-- the point of jumping and catching fish as they swim by or when they sleep. Once in a large tank, they can become almost impossible to catch.
