Behavior

These fish need to have a sandy bottm or crushed coral bottom. The live in burrows made in the sand or coral on the bottom. They are on constant watch for preditors or food that may come by.

They need to have a secure tank since they are known to be jumpers. They are constantly looking for material (large pieces of crushed coral or old shells) to build up their home.

They are considered carnivores.
