Behavior

Will eat any fish it can catch including clownfish, no clownfish will use this anemone as a host in nature, likes to be nestled in a hole or crack in the rockwork. In my case my clarkii bonded very well with my condy. The bodies of both are about 2.5" (not including tenticles). My condy anchored itself to one spot and has been there for 3 months. I'm confident as to identification as it came from a good local enthusiast owned and aperated store.

Feeding

Will get food from zooanthelae but additional feeding with meaty fare such as diced fish or shrimp is neccesary

Breeding

Under good conditions may split in two

Social Structure

They usually will not form groups or pairs. They can sting other anemones and other corals.

Additional Notes

These anemones are not ideal for tanks that wish to have a clownfish/anemone relationship. These anemones constantly move areound and sting corals. More anemones will not converge into a group, they are generally single creatures. A better anemone for the aquarist is the long tentacled and the bulb anemone.
