Physical Description

(display distinct sexual dichromatism between the adult males and females. Males will have a yellow border around the dorsal caudal anal fin and of course blue around the throat area whereas the females will be drab in color mostly grey)

Distribution

(Indo-West Pacific: Natal, South Africa and the Mascarene Is. (comprised of Réunion, Mauritius and Rodriguez) to the Hawaiian Is., north to the Ryukyus, south to Cocos Keeling Atoll and New Caledonia.)

Shy when first introduced, but will soon become a personable fish. They tend to be heavy eaters, and seem to get along with most fish.

I personally have a male and female. They are great fish to watch, feed and have. I would recommend on in a reef or FO setting provided room.
